Robert Adamson

For over 30 years, Robert Adamson has pursued a love of hand-blown glass, turning his vision of glass making into a highly successful studio and training ground for young glass artists in the Pacific Northwest. Founding the nationally known art glass company, Glass Eye Studio in 1978, he sold the company in 1989. He continued to direct Glass Eye Studio design for over 120 products annually until 1998. In 1997 he finished construction of his own glass facility on Whidbey Island, WA. Here Robert is producing a line of art glass for the American craft market, and explores sculptural directions in contemporary art glass.
